BVLA gold
Not the beginning. The point.
BVLA classics are not gateway pieces. A single piece in solid 14ct gold, worn daily, always there: an object in its own right. You don't need a full curated ear to make that call.
On starting with one piece
You can book a standard appointment, choose a BVLA piece at the chair, and leave with exactly what you came for. There is no minimum. There is no curation package required. One piece, worn well, is already the complete outcome.
Three thousand designs, handcrafted in Los Angeles, hand-set stones. The full collection is available to view, try against your ear, and fit from the moment of piercing.

A curated ear unfolds over visits. One piercing, then another, spaced for healing, each one placed with the next in mind. The consultation is where the plan begins: every subsequent visit has a reference to work from.
Whether you end up with two piercings or twelve, both are complete. The ear is yours, and the pace is yours.

A dedicated session to design your ear. We map placements against your anatomy, select pieces, plan a healing sequence, and build a reference for every future visit.

Safe from the first appointment.
Earlobes only, using the same sterile needle technique and implant-grade titanium as every other piercing at Platinum Point. No piercing guns. No exceptions.
A parent or guardian must be present throughout for children under 16. Piercing both lobes in the same session is strongly recommended.

One client at a time
Appointment only, no walk-ins, no second chair. The hour is yours from the moment you sit down.

Implant-grade, always
Every initial piercing is performed with ASTM F136 titanium: biocompatible, correctly sized, finished to surgical specification. The jewellery is part of the procedure.

Clinical sterilisation
Instruments are autoclaved before every appointment. Protocols are drawn from clinical medicine and exceed the minimums set by health compliance. This is unremarkable to us.

Six-week return, included
A downsize appointment, in the calendar before you leave. The starter post comes out, the healed-wear post goes in, the piercing settles for the long term. Already paid for.

Yes. Every piercing price includes implant-grade titanium jewellery. BVLA solid gold, equally safe for fresh piercings, is available at additional cost and selected at your consultation.
One price — your chosen piece, placed. Consultation, placement, and your six-week return are included. Ear and facial pieces start from $300. Body placements start from $1,100. The exact price is confirmed at your consultation once you have chosen your piece.
The $150 ear curation consultation is a dedicated design session of approximately 45–60 minutes. We assess your anatomy, map placement options, discuss jewellery, sequence a healing plan, and build a reference for every future visit. The $150 is fully redeemable against your first piercing. The consultation produces a plan you follow at your own pace.
Yes: for new piercings performed at Platinum Point, the downsize appointment at 6–8 weeks is included in what you paid. The downsize jewellery itself may carry a small charge if we need to fit a specific shorter post, but the appointment and assessment are always included.
Because the standard is higher. Implant-grade jewellery, clinical sterilisation, appointment-only time, and the six-week return are part of every appointment. The price reflects what is in the room.
We only pierce with jewellery we can verify meets implant-grade standards. This ensures biocompatibility, correct sizing, and proper surface finish, all critical for healing. We're happy to guide you through our range to find the right piece.
We don't currently offer payment plans for piercing services. We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash. For larger jewellery investments, speak with us about ordering timelines.
