What Are You Paying For?
Verified Materials
Verifiable materials mean that what we are putting in your body has been independently tested and been proven to be safe by the same organization that approves medical implants for surgical use. So you can rest assured that mystery metals aren’t coming anywhere near your body.
Proof of materials (Mill Certificates) are available at anytime on request.
Aseptic Expertise
One way to look at it is we all know that sterile jewellery is what we should be looking for in a new piercing, but if that sterile jewellery is handled incorrectly and comes in contact with non-sterile gloves or surfaces then it is no longer sterile. Aseptic process ensures that all sterile objects only come into contact with sterile objects, this ensures that the sterility is maintained.
Aftercare Support
A piercing is not finished after you leave the studio and neither is our support. All piercings include a complementary 4 week checkup to keep an eye on the healing and decide when downsizing is appropriate. You can also contact the studio by email at anytime if you encounter any issues during the healing process and we can decide if it is an issue that will require an appointment to have a closer look or if it is an issue that you can manage at home with our advice.
Best Tools
Just as jewellery comes on a spectrum of quality, so does the quality of tools and equipment.
All jewellery is sterilized in the most recent Statim Autoclave, this is industry best practice and has the ability to sterilize jewellery quickly while you are filling out consent forms and discussing aftercare.
Needles are very important and have many different levels of quality and the difference this can make to the comfort and healing of your piercing cannot be understated, we use silicone coated needles for your comfort allowing them to glide through causing less trauma.
